Mick Miles graduated from Gray’s School of Art, Aberdeen in 1980.
Since then he has lived and worked in Scotland, Cheshire, Holland and Yorkshire.
Over the years he has exhibited work in many galleries in Scotland and Northern England. He sells both through galleries and privately and his work is owned by numerous private collectors both in the UK and overseas.
Currently Mick lives and works in the North York Moors combining his main activity of painting with teaching. He works mainly in oils, acrylics and pastels and while his main interest is landscapes his work also features various other subjects including portraits both of people and of
animals. He has carried out successful commissions on a wide range of subjects and will consider any specific request.
